What's coming up at Marsh Haven?

Family Nature Club
May 25, 2013
The Family Nature Club offered at Marsh Haven Nature Center offers parents and children a chance to learn more about nature and explore its elements through a monthly get-together with activities, stories, hiking and projects. The club meets monthly on the last Saturday of the month, beginning Saturday, May 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. Families are invited to come early and bring a picnic lunch.
The goal of the Family Nature Club is to help children and families explore and connect with the natural world, and spend quality time together outdoors. Fun activities that Nature Club participants take part in include learning about several aspects of trees, going on a nature treasure hunt, discovering the wonder of clouds, and much more. Each month includes a different theme with hands-on activities, time outside and a handout to help keep the learning alive even at home. Free to Marsh Haven members or regular admission fees to non-member families. Join us and help strengthen learning skills, foster children's sense of wonder, and help families make close connections with nature.
