Youth Programs-
BIRDcamp - A unique environmental, bird-themed daycamp for children ages 7-12 that strives to foster a love and respect for the earth that lasts a lifetime. BIRDcamp offers science, games, art, drama and music all with a bird-themed focus. This curriculum is designed to inspire care and concern for the earth, in addition to helping campers learn more about our feathered friends. BIRDcamp is presented in an atmosphere of fun and camaraderie. Sign up for one day or both-$15 for one day or $25 for both days - different activities will be held each day. BIRDcamp will be held during the Horicon Marsh Bird Festival weekend on May 12-13. A registration form can be found HERE. Registration deadline is May 1, 2012.
EARTHcamp programs are 5-day long or weekend daycamp opportunities for children ages 7-12. Each EARTHcamp has a different theme with activities designed to foster respect and love for the Earth through art, games, drama, music and fun.
Diggin' in the Dirt - June 4-8, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Living Lightly on the Land - July 16-20, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Big Blue Planet - August 6-10, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Adult Programs -
Nature Journaling Workshop - June 10 or October 7, 1-4 p.m. Discover the benefits of journaling, learn how to make your own journal, get inspired and find ways your journaling can become a positive part of your life. There will be time to wander the trails at Marsh Haven and begin the journaling process. Pre-registration required
Birds of Prey programs by Barbara Harvey are scheduled for all Saturday afternoons in October (except Oct. 27).
Family Programs -
Marsh Haven Family Nature Club meets on the last Saturday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m. The goal of the Family Nature Club is to inspire children and their families to connect with the natural world and spend quality time together outdoors. Each month has a different theme, come to one meeting or all. There will be hands-on activities, educational programs, ideas to continue your family time in nature, and book suggestions for extended learning. Come early, bring a lunch and have a family picnic at Marsh Haven.
The S.E.P. (Saturday Evening Potluck) is a community event held the last Saturday evening each month at Marsh Haven Nature Center, 5-9 p.m. The general public is invited to Marsh Haven after hours for “Soup, Salad and Surprise.” Bring a dish to pass, enjoy time around the campfire, watch the aerial show of Purple Martins or bats, share a skill and meet some new friends. Free-will donations welcome.
